The Museum

The Museum in Studio:
The Museum will be Chris Crain's special guests in the studio during the 3:00 hour this afternoon.  They have a new album coming out in August, and they will be playing music from it as well as talking about what's been  happening with the band since they were with us last Fall.  Be sure to listen to the interview on 88.5 WJIE! Lord's Kitchen Summer Feeding Program
Pastor Sam Watene, Director of The Lord's Kitchen, stopped by the studio this morning to tell us about some volunteer opportunities that are available this Summer.  The Lord's Kitchen shows God's love by feeding the hungry 365 days per year.  During the Summer they also provide a feeding program to make sure that kids are getting the proper nutrition when they aren't in school.  There has been a great need for the Summer Feeding Program,  in fact toward the end of the Summer last year, they were feeding 600+ children per day.  They just kicked off this Summer's Feeding Program, and their numbers are already that high.  They expect the number of meals to increase to 1,000+ per day before the end of the season.  If you are looking for a way to show some summer kindness, there are many opportunities available for volunteers to get involved.  There is also a need for monetary donations.  To find out how you can help, visit theLordsKitchen.com
