Easter Crafts & Recipes:
All this week I will be posting some recipes and crafts that you may want to try this Easter.

Eggshell Flower Arrangements:
These are an adorable eco-friendly way to add a little Spring Beauty to your home.  Hollowed-out the eggshells make naturally beautiful vases for tiny flower arrangements. Break an egg at the top of its shell, drain the contents, and carefully rinse out the inside. Next, fill the empty shell with room-temperature water and place it in an eggcup for stability. Finally, insert small cuttings of your favorite blossoms (we used lilacs, lily of the valley, and violas). Individually or grouped together in a centerpiece, these tiny arrangements make a wonderful addition to the place settings at your table.

Easter Garden:
Found this a bit late, but this is probably the cutest craft project I've seen so far this year for teaching kids about Easter.

Directions:
Using potting soil, a tiny buried flower pot for the tomb, shade grass seed, & crosses made from twigs. Sprinkle grass seed generously on top of dirt, keep moistened using a spray water bottle. Spritz it several times a day. Set it in a warm sunny location. Sprouts in 7-10 days so plan ahead.

Easter Side Dishes:

Apple Pear Salad
Deviled Potatoes
Mini Mac & Cheese Pies
Parmesan Roasted Potatoes
Spring Pea Salad
Two Potato Gratin (Pictured)
